Can it really be December already? Seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year with San Antonio’s Tricentennial Celebration. You know what they say: “time flies when you’re having the time of your life!”
As 2018 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on everything this year presented, and show gratitude to our incredibly hard-working and client-dedicated staff!
In San Antonio, we had the pleasure of catering a landmark civic event during the on-going Tricentennial celebration, which hosted the King and Queen of Spain as well as City and County leaders. This year was also our 48th annual year to cater the Witte Game Dinner and serve thousands of guests. From San Antonio Zoo Ball, Charity Ball, La Catrina Ball, Opening German, to Fiesta, and so much more along the way, Rosemary’s Catering had a very eventful, exciting and efficacious 2018!
2018 was another non-stop year for the Austin team. They kicked it off with a tasting at the Kentucky Derby Museum that was quickly followed by the announcement of expansion into the Louisville, Kentucky market as the exclusive catering partner of the Kentucky Derby Museum.
They have seen unprecedented growth of their daily food service sector with securing several new accounts and the expansion of existing ones. The Austin catering team had the opportunity to send General Manager Emily Malaya to the SpecialEvent in New Orleans and Catersource in Las Vegas.
She was one of the featured speakers at each conference presenting about experiential catering. The fall brought Formula 1, a 5,000 person holiday party and a full slate for 2019!
This year was also our ninth consecutive year to serve over 25,000 meals catering up to 1,000 guests at the lasting 21 days of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In addition, this was our first full year of operations in College Station with the growth of Cavalry Court and the opening of The George.
While 2018 was a lot of hard work, 2018 was also a WIN for everyone!
· We are extremely humbled and honored to share that the Rosemary’s Catering Austin team was recently recognized by The Knot for Best of Weddings 2018.

· We are also thrilled to share that our corporate team took home the following ILEA Antonian Awards, honoring event professionals in San Antonio:

Thank you, 2018, for providing a year of fun and challenging moments, but most of all a year to grow, learn and share our love of service and hospitality with our community.
